From history, climate and geography to a wide variety of programs and resources to help new or potential immigrants, this provincial government website is a good launch point in your research. Step #2: Discover the strength and diversity of the BC aerospace industry
One of the characteristics that often surprises people who are new to the province is the large number of companies that make up BC’s aerospace industry supply chain. From manufacturing and space, to services and MRO (maintenance, repair & overhaul) the province is home to dozens of companies needing skilled and semi-skilled workers.
You’ll find a list of the occupations that are in the highest demand here as well as a Company Directory that will help you identify and follow up with the province’s largest aerospace employers.

To support the continued growth of the aerospace industry, the Government of British Columbia is committed to helping build a stable, highly skilled workforce so that BC companies are globally competitive and can maintain their successful track record of quality and innovation. To support the industry, both the provincial and federal governments offer helpful support for skilled worker programs that skilled and semi-skilled workers can apply for when looking to make a career move to BC.
