The Industry

The BC aerospace industry leads Canada in maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) and modifications activity and boasts dynamic and growing aircraft production and retrofit, component manufacturing, aviation training and satellite communications sectors.

The industry is made up of close to 200 companies located across the province, with primary hubs in Greater Vancouver, the Fraser Valley, the Okanagan Valley and on Vancouver Island. BC’s aerospace industry is a significant generator of jobs and contributor to the provincial economy.
